About Us
Working together at one of the world’s leading international financial planning organisations, Carla and Taylor soon discovered that no matter where your career takes you, we all face the same hurdles upon moving to a new country with little or no support network.
And whether it be needing a new bank account, registering with a Doctor, or simply knowing where the best meeting rooms are, the best recommendations come from like-minded people who have been there, done that and bought the t-shirt!
Bringing together members via a supporting network to share experience, local knowledge and ‘best kept secrets’ is at the core of why Women Like Us was formed.
Mission & Core Values
Bringing together members via a supporting network to share experience, local knowledge and ‘best kept secrets’ is at the core of why Women Like Us was formed.
The Women Like Us events calendar provides the opportunity for members to access topical and insightful views from other areas of business.
Founded in Switzerland, with members across the country, WLU members have instant access to a network that helps one and other to grow their business.
Through a common goal, WLU empowers professional businesswomen to create new opportunities through regular networking and social events online workshops.
WLU supports its members who seek to grow their skillset through relevant and engaging talks and training seminars from industry leaders.
With first hand experience of the obstacles that female international workers must overcome, our founder has shaped WLU to allow you to do just that with the support of a first class network of connections.
Having been part of multiple female networking groups in the U.K., upon moving to Switzerland Taylor wanted to ensure other women had a space to connect and share. She loves to travel and regularly does so through her work as an International Senior Financial Consultant, which allows her to meet inspiring women from all over the globe. Having moved country multiple times herself, she understands the importance of networking, not just for business but also to expand social networks and learn from the experiences of others.
